Readery is run by [operator's name], [operator's address]. By using it you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Readery.
A shared reading room: you say what you're reading, take a seat, and read alongside other people. It's free. We may change it, add to it or take parts away, and we can't promise it will always be available or that it will never lose data. Keep your own records of anything that matters to you.
You must be at least [minimum age] to use Readery.
You can read without an account; your history is then tied to a cookie on your device, and clearing it loses that history. If you sign in, use an email address that is yours and keep access to it secure. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
Readery only works if it stays a quiet, decent place. In your name, your messages and anything else you put into Readery, don't:
Any signed-in reader can report a chat message, and enough reports hide it until we look. We may hide messages, stop an account from chatting, end a session that is holding a seat, take down a shared page, or remove an account, when we believe these terms have been broken or to keep the room safe. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why. To report something or to appeal a decision, write to [contact email].

The Readery name, design and software are ours. Book information and covers come from Open Library and belong to their owners. Blog posts are ours unless they say otherwise.
Readery is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we make no promises about it beyond those in these terms, and we're not liable for indirect losses or for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
You can stop using Readery at any time, and ask us to delete your data at [contact email]. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
These terms are governed by [governing law].
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site before it takes effect. Using Readery after that means you accept the new terms.
